Op 1 september 1954 werd in Maassluis de nieuwe gereformeerde Immanuëlkerk aan de Lange Boonestraat in gebruik genomen.
Ter gelegenheid daarvan werd in de kerkdienst van zondagochtend 1 september 2024 in het kort aandacht besteed aan dit 70-jarig jubileum. De dienst begon met het zingen van psalm 84 de verzen 1 en 6: ‘Hoe lieflijk, hoe goed is mij, Heer, het huis waar Gij Uw Naam en eer hebt laten wonen bij de mensen’.
Bij de afkondigingen werd meegedeeld dat aan het eind van de dienst een serie foto’s vertoond zou worden met betrekking tot de bouw van de Immanuëlkerk. Deze fotoreportage hebben wij hier als PDF-bestand in beeld gebracht.

Immanuël Church Maassluis after exactly seventy years.
On September 1, 1954, the new ‘gereformeerde’ Immanuel Church on Lange Boonestraat in Maassluis was inaugurated.
To mark this occasion, during the church service on Sunday morning, September 1, 2024, brief attention was given to this 70th anniversary. The service began with the singing of Psalm 84, verses 1 and 6: ‘How lovely, how good it is for me, Lord, the house where You have made Your Name and honor dwell among the people.’
